These Down Pants will keep you toasty warm — even more so when worn with shell pants to block the wind. For severe cold an further underlayer of Merino or fleece pants can be considered

Worn with Long Johns, these Down Pants will keep you toasty warm.

They also make a terrific warmth booster when worn inside a sleeping bag (together with a down jacket).
For extreme cold, the Down Pants should be worn with Shell Pants.
