Explosive Shotgun Shells are used by the  Rusty Shotgun,  Shotgun, and the  Trench Shotgun. Unlike arrows, javelins, and bolts this ammunition is destroyed on impact and cannot be recovered. Damages area around target. Caution when using this ammunition is advised. Explosive Shotgun Shells have 6 pellets per shell. The talent  Freebies has a chance to proc when crafting, giving prospectors a 5% chance to craft double ammo.
